Grilled Hamburger with Caramelized Balsamic Onions
  • one 4oz burger patty
  • 1/3 medium white onion
  • 3 tbsp Spice Girls Balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1/2 tsp pink sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
Start by chopping your white onion into inch-long chunks. With your nonstick pan on the stovetop, place it to medium-low heat and add your onions. Start by adding 2 tbsp of balsamic vinaigrette and let cook, mixing every 3-4 minutes. The process to carmalize the onions will take about 30 minutes to bring out the onions natural sugars and have that perfect flavor. Low and slow is the goal! After about 20 minutes add the second tbsp of vinaigrette. While the onions are turning into a masterpiece, prep your burger patty by seasoning both sides with salt and pepper. You can use a cast iron skillet, stove top skillet, grill or air fryer to cook! Simply cook on high for 4 minutes on each side or adjust to achieve desired internal color. You can use cabbage leafs as buns and add mustard if you’re feeling it. Let burger cool slightly then dig in!
